Hi, Heidi here :-) This is my sketch for the elk. I'm not sure if it will have 4 legs, I think 2 legs will be easier. At the moment I'm struggeling with the horns... wish me luck Heidi
Heidi, your elk is fabulous. I love that long neck. Do you know how you're going to piece it together? Just ask if you'd like any assistance figuring out where the seams should go. I can see how I'd do it, but I bet there are lots of ways to make it work. Sooo cute.
This reminds me of a Merry Chrismoose. I have to admit I don't know the difference between a moose and an elk.
Thanks Tonya, I should have mentioned that I made the drawing after a small figure I bought last week. And the elk is already done, but I may need some color advice. Will try to make a photo later today, when the light is better. This is fun :-)) Heidi
Or maybe I should call this the Lazy Gal Fall/Winter/Christmas/Peace Quilting Class of 2007. All quilters are welcome to participate, so long as you're willing to work in a free-pieced or improvisational way. No templates, no patterns, not much measuring and not many rules. Want to know more? Keep reading.
