I got brave and peeled the drumsticks off and am hoping the second glue job will be permanent. Thanks, Tonya, for posting this for me. I have resolved my posting space issue and won't have to use up your space from now on.
Every time I see your quilt, the song starts in my head! What a lovely Christmas idea. My quilt (Goodwill to all people) was an idea I had about Christmas being a time to get together, and I'm going to ask all the people who come to see us over Christmas to sign their names on the snow under the houses - or anywhere they like. It will be a record of this family's 2007 goodwill.
Or maybe I should call this the Lazy Gal Fall/Winter/Christmas/Peace Quilting Class of 2007. All quilters are welcome to participate, so long as you're willing to work in a free-pieced or improvisational way. No templates, no patterns, not much measuring and not many rules. Wow .... it's wonderful! Love the different shades of blue in the words.
Nice job, Carol. I thought that you had glued the drumsticks on already?
I like the bright colors in there, and I also like the print fabric mixed in the border.
Good job! I love how you put it all together!
