It is gorgeous.Tonya Ricuccihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10778059489713831067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16908635669091676.post-1212116430743839202007-11-26T22:06:00.000+01:002007-11-26T22:06:00.000+01:00aaargh... Now I'm just trying to minimise.

Tonya - that stocking is not yet joined so I will be avoiding that set in seam. I'm also trying to avoid the long straight line that is appearing over the two stockings on the right.

I'm trying to work without drawing the whole thing on paper first. I'm very attracted to your 'if it's too big chop it off; if it's too small add a bit' approach. I can do that, but I'm not altogether sure I'm going to like the results!

It's kind of fun watching it emerge and seeing new possibilities (and problems) at each step.

Facing the challenges. Practising persistence.Gillianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14037804717667251460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16908635669091676.post-1361536539435235262007-11-26T14:42:00.000+01:002007-11-26T14:42:00.000+01:00Those stockings are sweet and you are so right abo...Those stockings are sweet and you are so right about set-in seams .... got to avoid those! I love the pieced background. this looks wonderful, but it looks like you're already hit a set in seam (if that stocking second from the left is already sewn on) - eek. I can see how to get around that though if you take that one off and then add more green above the stockings on the right. You're braver than I am!Tonya Ricuccihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10778059489713831067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16908635669091676.post-8329514287602361052007-11-26T00:45:00.000+01:002007-11-26T00:45:00.000+01:00Looks great to me!Looks great to me!Lyndahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11028823449044689373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16908635669091676.post-54609345573686762912007-11-25T21:58:00.000+01:002007-11-25T21:58:00.000+01:00Love all the patchy colors!
